Sanyou Biopharmaceuticals Launches 65-Item Monkeypox Product Line

  • Sanyou Biopharmaceuticals has launched a 65-item product line focused on monkeypox, including antigens, monoclonal antibodies, and overexpression cell lines.
  • The new product line targets multiple key viral sites and aims to support the development of vaccines, therapeutics, diagnostics, and research tools.

Sanyou Biopharmaceuticals has introduced a comprehensive product line aimed at advancing monkeypox research and treatment development. The product range, consisting of 65 items, includes natural epitope antigens, high-affinity monoclonal antibodies, and overexpression cell lines, all designed to target key sites on the monkeypox virus. These sites are critical for the virus’s infection and assembly processes, making them important targets for therapeutic intervention.

The new product line is divided into three main categories: 26 natural epitope antigens, 28 monoclonal antibodies, and 11 overexpression cell lines. Developed using Sanyou Biopharmaceuticals’ proprietary “over-trillion innovative antibody discovery” platform, these products include antibodies from multiple species, such as fully human, nano, and mouse antibodies. The high-affinity nano antibodies, in particular, hold significant potential for structural analysis and bispecific research.

The products are intended for use in the development of vaccines, therapeutics, diagnostic reagents, and scientific research, addressing the growing global need for effective monkeypox solutions. The company has a track record of rapid response in public health crises, as highlighted by its contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic, where its work in antibody therapy development was published in leading scientific journals and advanced to clinical trials.

Dr. Lang Guojun, CEO of Sanyou Biopharmaceuticals, underscored the company’s ongoing commitment to global public health. He noted that the launch of this monkeypox product line is part of the company’s broader efforts to support the development of tools necessary for combating infectious diseases worldwide.
