Franklin Biolabs Launches as New Genetic Medicines CRO, Expanding Services Globally

Franklin Biolabs, headquartered in Philadelphia, has officially launched its operations, marking a significant entry into the genetic medicines sector. Founded by Dr. James Wilson, a renowned figure in gene therapy, the organisation is designed to provide comprehensive solutions from discovery through to development and distribution for clients in the global genetic medicines market.

The company brings together a team of over 130 specialists, offering services that include immunology, vector production, next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics, and nonclinical pharmacology and toxicology studies. Its name pays homage to Ben Franklin, an American scientist and inventor. Franklin Biolabs will conduct research for sponsors across various continents, aiming to address severe disorders through innovative treatments.
