Piramal Pharma Solutions has unveiled a new payload-linker development and manufacturing suite at its Riverview Drug Substance Facility as part of its previously announced $90 million investment initiative.

The company stated that the expansion is intended to strengthen U.S.-based manufacturing capabilities for bioconjugate therapeutics and support growing demand for antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and related therapies. The new suite was officially opened during a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by company leadership, including Nandini Piramal and Peter DeYoung.

According to the company, the facility has been designed with advanced containment, automation, and analytical technologies to support payload-linker development, manufacturing, and scale-up activities. Piramal Pharma Solutions said the expansion is expected to improve flexibility and responsiveness for evolving market requirements.

The company added that the new suite further expands its ADCelerate™ platform, which supports ADC and bioconjugate development and manufacturing services. The investment forms part of the company’s broader efforts to expand its contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) and contract manufacturing capabilities in the bioconjugate sector.
