The Council of Europe – EDQM is a prominent organisation dedicated to protecting public health by equipping authorities and manufacturers worldwide with the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.), reference standards, and Certificates of Suitability to the Monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia (CEPs). The Ph. Eur. delineates the quality requirements essential for the approval of medicines in Europe. CEPs play a crucial role in the quality section of Marketing Authorisation Dossiers and are officially recognised across the 39 Ph. Eur. member states and beyond.
