Uniquity Bio Appoints Will Kane as CEO

• Uniquity Bio has appointed Will Kane as President and CEO following the departure of founding CEO Brian Lortie in June 2025.

• The leadership change comes as the company advances its anti-TSLP monoclonal antibody, solrikitug, through multiple Phase II trials.

Uniquity Bio, a clinical-stage drug development company backed by Blackstone Life Sciences, has appointed Will Kane as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. The announcement follows the departure of co-founder and former CEO Brian Lortie in June 2025.

The appointment comes at a pivotal time for the company, which is progressing solrikitug, its lead monoclonal antibody candidate, through three ongoing Phase II clinical trials. The trials target asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). Solrikitug acts by blocking thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), a key mediator of inflammatory responses.

Will Kane brings over 30 years of leadership experience across multiple therapeutic areas. His previous roles include president and chief commercial officer at Anthos Therapeutics, as well as senior positions at Karuna Therapeutics, BioXcel Therapeutics, Allergan, and Pfizer. His appointment signals Uniquity Bio’s preparation to advance solrikitug into Phase III development.
