OneSource Specialty Pharma, a newly established CDMO, was officially launched at CPHI Milan following the merger of three CDMO businesses within the Strides Group. The company specialises in biologics, drug-device combinations, and soft gelatin capsules, supported by over 30 years of manufacturing and quality excellence.
The company operates five facilities, approved by major regulatory bodies including the US FDA, EU, and TGA, with a workforce of more than 1,200 professionals. OneSource has the capacity to produce over 100 million injectable doses and 2.4 billion soft gelatin capsules annually. Its flagship site in Bangalore is one of the few globally to manufacture both biologics drug substance and product on the same premises.
With this consolidation, OneSource aims to streamline supply chains for pharmaceutical companies by reducing the need for multiple outsourcing partners. The combined business serves more than 50 global clients and focuses on reducing costs, complexity, and resource demands.
Looking ahead, OneSource projects 32% revenue growth in 2025, with sales expected to hit $400 million by 2028. This growth is supported by industry trends, such as increasing demand for drug-device combinations and the BIOSECURE Act, which drives the need for supply chain diversity.
