Biopharma Technology LLC (BTLLC), the United States division of Biopharma Group, has announced a strategic partnership with California-based life sciences company Arete Biosciences. This collaboration aims to establish a dedicated R&D analysis and small batch manufacturing laboratory in the USA to cater to American customers.
The new facility will offer a range of Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) services. These services will focus on lyophilised (freeze-dried) products and liquid formulations, addressing the growing demand for reliable CDMO solutions in the US market. The partnership will provide American biopharmaceutical and diagnostics companies access to thermal analysis services, freeze-dried formulation and cycle development, lyobead generation, small batch manufacturing, process troubleshooting, and audits and reviews.

The collaboration between BTLLC and Arete Biosciences will utilise advanced lyo instruments, such as Lyostat FDM, Lyotherm, and MicroPress, to ensure optimal stability and formulation design.
