SEQENS Appoints Pascal Villemagne as CEO, Effective April 2025

• SEQENS has appointed Pascal Villemagne as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1st April 2025.

• Villemagne succeeds Pierre Luzeau, who will join the SEQENS Supervisory Board as an Independent Director and Chairman of the CSR Committee.

SEQENS, a France-based leader in the development and production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), pharmaceutical intermediates, and specialty ingredients, has announced that Pascal Villemagne will take over as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1st April 2025.

Villemagne brings extensive leadership experience to SEQENS, having previously served as CEO of CARBOGEN AMCIS, a company specializing in custom API manufacturing. During his tenure, he played a key role in the company’s transformation, leading structural and digital changes while driving expansion into new markets. His career in the life sciences sector also includes senior roles at Farmhispania, Inabata, Cambrex, and Sanofi.
