- NetraMark Holdings Inc. (TSX: AIAI; OTCQB: AINMF), a Toronto-based AI company developing clinical trial optimization and precision medicine solutions, has signed a new contract to analyze a Phase 2 neurodegeneration dataset through its established CRO partnership — marking the first commercial agreement to flow through a CRO partner rather than directly with a biopharmaceutical company.
- Under the contract, NetraMark will apply its proprietary NetraAI platform to identify explainable Model-Derived Subgroups (MDS) and treatment-response patterns in the neurodegeneration trial dataset, generating clinically interpretable insights intended to support patient stratification, future trial design, and drug development decision-making in one of clinical development’s most analytically challenging therapeutic areas.

NetraMark Holdings Inc. (TSX: AIAI; OTCQB: AINMF; Frankfurt: PF0), a company developing advanced artificial intelligence solutions for clinical trial optimization and precision medicine, announced on July 9, 2026, from Toronto, Canada, the signing of a new contract to analyze a Phase 2 neurodegeneration dataset through its established CRO partnership. The agreement is a commercial milestone for NetraMark, representing the first contract to flow through a CRO partner rather than directly with a biopharmaceutical company — signaling the beginning of a new distribution channel through which NetraAI can reach sponsors as an embedded component of the broader CRO clinical development infrastructure.
Under the agreement, NetraMark will apply its proprietary NetraAI platform to the Phase 2 clinical trial dataset with the objective of identifying explainable Model-Derived Subgroups and treatment-response patterns that may not be detectable through conventional statistical approaches. The analyses are designed to generate clinically interpretable insights — covering factors that influence treatment response, placebo response, and adverse events — intended to support patient stratification strategies, improved trial design, and future drug development decisions for the neurodegenerative indication. The partnership combines the CRO’s global clinical development expertise and sponsor relationships with NetraMark’s AI platform and experienced industry team.
The neurodegeneration therapeutic area presents specific analytical challenges that make AI-assisted subgroup identification particularly relevant for CRO sponsors and their clients. Disease heterogeneity, variable progression rates, and the difficulty of identifying patients most likely to respond to treatment have historically contributed to high Phase 2 and Phase 3 failure rates across Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and related conditions. NetraAI is engineered to separate small clinical datasets into explainable and unexplainable patient subsets — filtering out patient populations that create overfitting risk and focusing analytical power on the subset of patients whose data can yield meaningful and reproducible insights, a capability directly relevant to the limited dataset sizes typical of early-phase neurodegeneration trials.
The CRO-channelled contract model represents a meaningful step in NetraMark’s commercial strategy. Rather than relying solely on direct relationships with biopharmaceutical companies, embedding NetraAI within CRO development workflows enables the platform to reach a broader set of sponsors through established outsourcing relationships — with the CRO acting as an integration partner that brings AI-enabled data analytics to its own clients as part of a broader service offering. The agreement extends NetraMark’s growing portfolio of AI-driven CNS projects and represents the company’s tenth commercial contract since the start of its current fiscal year.
“This contract is an important commercial milestone for NetraMark because it represents our first contract flowing through a CRO, rather than directly with a biopharmaceutical company. We believe this reflects a meaningful expansion of how NetraAI can reach biopharmaceutical companies, by becoming part of the broader clinical development infrastructure that CROs use to support sponsors.”
