- PSI CRO has opened a new office in Osaka, Japan, marking its second location in the country.
- The expansion follows the launch of the company’s Tokyo office in early 2025 and is intended to support clinical trial operations and strengthen relationships with local research sites.
PSI CRO, a Swiss-based global contract research organization (CRO), has opened a new office in Osaka, Japan, expanding its presence in the country. The facility is located on Level 18 of the Hilton Plaza West Office Tower in the Umeda district of Osaka.
The Osaka office marks the company’s second location in Japan. PSI opened its first Japanese office in Tokyo earlier in 2025 and appointed Sayaka Kaji as Country Manager for Japan. The new location is intended to connect pharmaceutical sponsors with local teams and strengthen links with established clinical research sites in the region.
Japan is considered an important market for pivotal clinical trials, and the expansion is part of PSI’s effort to build in-country capabilities. With teams operating in both Tokyo and Osaka, the CRO aims to support clinical research operations and collaborate more closely with Japan’s clinical research community.
“PSI’s approach means we adapt rapidly to our clients’ needs and market changes.”
Sayaka Kaji, Country Manager for Japan
The Osaka opening follows PSI’s broader expansion across the Asia-Pacific region, where the company has added offices and operational teams in markets including South Korea, Singapore, China, Taiwan, India, Australia, and New Zealand.
