Tobin Scientific, a provider of cGMP storage, cold chain services, and logistics for the life sciences industry, has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Wakefield Moving & Storage. Wakefield is one of the largest commercial moving and storage firms in New England, serving clients across pharma, academia, and other sectors.

The deal adds 300,000 square feet of warehouse space to Tobin Scientific’s operations and strengthens its position in the New England region. The acquisition also expands Tobin Scientific’s reach into additional industries such as semiconductors and defence, while deepening its role in biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic research logistics.
