Tobin Scientific Opens cGMP Warehouse in Wilmington to Expand Life Sciences Storage

• Tobin Scientific has opened a new 40,000 sq ft cGMP-compliant warehouse in Wilmington, Massachusetts, enhancing its pharmaceutical storage and logistics capabilities.

• The facility is the company’s third in three years and follows a $65 million growth capital raise.

Tobin Scientific, a provider of cGMP-compliant warehousing and transportation solutions, has opened a new 40,000-square-foot facility in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Located 20 miles north of Boston, the site is designed to support life sciences clients with pharmaceutical-grade storage and distribution solutions across controlled temperature ranges.

The new warehouse features dual -20°C cold storage chambers with full redundancy, along with a high-density ultra-narrow aisle racking system and building-wide backup power. Validated for 15°C to 25°C storage, the facility complies with cGMP requirements and is engineered to maintain strict environmental standards.

The opening marks the third facility Tobin Scientific has developed in as many years, with two additional sites currently in early design-build stages. According to the company, this expansion follows its recent $65 million growth capital raise and aligns with its strategy to strengthen infrastructure in key life sciences hubs.
