Can you tell us a little about your background and how you came to join our company?
I hold a Master’s in Biotechnology and have a background in the life science sector, where my work has primarily focused on secondary research, news monitoring, conference coverage, and competitive intelligence. I’ve always been passionate about creating engaging content, and when I came across Life Science Networks and the role on LinkedIn, it immediately stood out. It felt like the perfect opportunity that aligned with both my background and interests.
What is your role at the company, and what are your main responsibilities?
As a Content Producer, I specialize in pharma conferences and online media, where no two days are the same. My work ranges from tracking industry news and creating insightful content to conducting secondary research and pulling together market insights for platforms like PharmaSource and CDMO Live. I also support the onboarding of speakers and buyers, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all. It’s a fast-paced, creative role that keeps me closely connected to the heart of the pharma industry.
How would you describe the company culture here?
In one word—amazing. It’s rare to find a work culture that’s this inclusive, positive, and supportive. We’re a global team, but it feels like a close-knit community. There’s genuine trust, and a lot of freedom to experiment and grow. Plus, there’s a healthy respect for work-life balance, which I truly appreciate. Every day brings new learning, and yet there’s always room for laughter and support.
Can you share a memorable moment from your time here?
Attending my first-ever pharma conference CDMO Live in Rotterdam was an unforgettable experience. I had worked in the pharma industry before, but seeing the event come to life in person was something else. Meeting experts, seeing our content in action, and feeling that buzz in the room was all so inspiring. It made me even more excited about the work we do and the impact it creates. The faith and freedom our founders place in the team makes every milestone more meaningful.
What do you enjoy most about working in the life sciences industry?
I’ve always been curious about how science shapes the world we live in. Working in this industry keeps that curiosity alive. It’s constantly evolving, full of innovation, and has a real impact on people’s lives.I also love the collaborative spirit at conferences – exchanging knowledge, staying up to date with breakthroughs, and forming lasting connections is what makes this field so dynamic.
What’s a fun fact about you that not many people know?
I’m a state-level badminton and basketball player! Sports have always played a big role in my life. I may not hit the court every day now, but my passion is still going strong. Who knows, I might be back in the game soon!
