Can you tell us a little about your background and how you came to join our company? 

I have a background in biotechnology and spent two years working as a microbiologist. While it was a good job, I realized it wasn’t something that truly excited me every day. Then, one day while scrolling through LinkedIn, I came across a job posting for a Partnering Specialist at Life Science Networks. The role felt like exactly what I’d been looking for, something that aligned with my interests and passion. Without a second thought, I applied, and now here I am, working as a Partnering Specialist, and loving every moment of it!

What is your role at the company, and what are your main responsibilities?

I work as a Partnering Specialist, where my main role is to engage and build strong relationships with buyers. I handle the entire onboarding process for both buyers and suppliers, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Additionally, I contribute to creating content that helps engage our audience, both on our website and across social media platforms, making sure we’re connecting with and adding value to the life sciences community.

It’s a positive atmosphere that values hard work while ensuring you enjoy the journey. 

Can you share a memorable experience you’ve had while working here?

A memorable moment for me was organizing my first online event, CDMO Live 2024. It was a huge milestone in my career and an incredible learning experience. This event taught me so much—from the behind-the-scenes details of planning a large-scale event to how important teamwork is in making everything run smoothly. I had the chance to upskill myself in areas I hadn’t explored before, and seeing how our team came together to make it a success was truly rewarding. It showed me firsthand how a strong, supportive team can turn a great idea into a fantastic event.

What do you like working in the life sciences industry? 

What I love about the life sciences industry is the endless opportunity for learning and growth. Each day brings new technologies, market shifts, and ways to connect with the community. Organizing events like CDMO Live 2024 has shown me how innovation can unite people, tackle real-world challenges, and make a real difference. It’s inspiring to be part of an industry focused on advancing science and healthcare globally, knowing our work contributes to improving lives.

What’s a fun fact about you that not many people know?

A fun fact about me that not many people know is that I’m an avid photographer in my free time! I love capturing landscapes and nature and people! I am also thinking of buying a Camera now.
