- Quasar Medical has opened its new Global Headquarters in Singapore, relocating from Hong Kong.

Quasar Medical has announced the opening of its Global Headquarters in Singapore, marking a strategic relocation from its original base in Hong Kong. The move strengthens the company’s position within Asia’s growing MedTech ecosystem.
The new facility, located in Singapore’s biomedical hub, adds 7,000 square feet to the existing 35,000-square-foot site acquired in 2021. It is designed to enhance collaboration, accelerate innovation, and meet growing global demand for minimally invasive medical devices.
Equipped with capabilities such as advanced extrusion, braiding, balloon manufacturing, and automated assembly, the headquarters will support high-volume production and customised catheter solutions. The Singapore site currently houses 180 staff and is expected to grow to over 300 within three years.

Quasar will continue operations in Hong Kong while using its new headquarters as the core of its global strategy. The move has been welcomed by the Singapore Economic Development Board, citing the investment as a boost to the local MedTech industry and workforce.
