WuXi Biologics announced that an innovative trispecific antibody for ophthalmic diseases developed in collaboration with Earendil Labs has become the 1,000th molecule on its integrated CRDMO platform. The companies said their collaboration has advanced multiple novel bispecific and multispecific antibodies, fusion proteins, and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) from DNA to investigational new drug (IND) stage, with timelines that outperformed industry averages.
According to the companies, the partnership combines Earendil Labs’ discovery capabilities with WuXi Biologics’ integrated research, development, and contract manufacturing platform to support the progression of programs across autoimmune diseases, oncology, ophthalmic diseases, and other serious conditions. The companies said the collaboration aims to reduce development risk and accelerate development timelines.
