- Ritedose has significantly increased its donation to Dispensary of Hope, providing 1 million doses of respiratory medications for low-income and chronically ill patients.
Ritedose, a CDMO specializing in sterile Blow Fill Seal (BFS) production, has announced a substantial increase in its annual donation to Dispensary of Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential medications to low-income and chronically ill patients. This year, Ritedose will donate an unprecedented 1 million doses of respiratory medications.
The donation represents a significant increase from last year’s contributions, where Ritedose provided over 77,760 doses of Ipratropium Bromide and 46,800 doses of Levalbuterol Inhalation Solution. The decision to expand this support stems from the positive impact these medications have had on patients who rely on Dispensary of Hope for their healthcare needs.
Ritedose will manufacture Albuterol Sulfate Inhalation Solution and Levalbuterol Inhalation Solution specifically for this initiative. These medications are crucial for treating various respiratory conditions, making them vital to the patients served by Dispensary of Hope.
“Dispensary of Hope’s mission to provide needed medications for low-income and chronically ill patients is a mission Ritedose is proud to support and one we wholeheartedly embrace,” said Jody Chastain, CEO of Ritedose. “The products we will directly manufacture for Dispensary of Hope are those needed most to treat multiple respiratory conditions. We have an obligation to take care of patients, and partnering with Dispensary of Hope is one way we can fulfill that mission.”
