Current Capacity: ElevateBio’s flagship purpose-built biomanufacturing facility, BaseCamp Waltham, offers end-to-end process development, analytical development, and cGMP manufacturing capabilities. This facility is ~140,00 sq ft. with lab, manufacturing, and office space. We are expanding to Pittsburgh, PA and have plans to expand to other regions in the U.S. and ex-U.S. to meet the growing demand of our partners and reach as many cell and gene therapy innovators as possible. Our new BaseCamp Pittsburgh facility located at Hazelwood Green is being built in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh and the R.K. Mellon foundation and is expected to be completed in 2027. BaseCamp Pittsburgh will also provide the technologies, expertise, operations, processes, and manufacturing to accelerate the development and commercialization of transformative therapies.
