- Bionova Scientific has announced the installation of its third Cytiva FlexFactory platform to support its expansion into genomic medicine manufacturing.
- The CDMO will also leverage Cytiva’s Fast Trak services at its new facility in The Woodlands, Texas.
Bionova Scientific, a contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO), has announced the installation of a third FlexFactory manufacturing platform from Cytiva as it enters the advanced therapy manufacturing space. The company aims to meet rising demand for genomic medicines while continuing its established monoclonal antibody (mAb) services.
The new FlexFactory will be delivered to Bionova’s recently opened facility in The Woodlands, Texas. The site, which celebrated its grand opening on 29 May 2025, marks a strategic investment in expanding the company’s manufacturing capabilities for emerging therapeutic modalities.
The installation is part of a broader collaboration with Cytiva, which also includes the use of Fast Trak process development services. These offerings are designed to accelerate clinical development timelines by combining technical support with scalable platform solutions.

According to Cytiva, the FlexFactory platform enables faster production ramp-up and greater flexibility while meeting regulatory standards.
