The investment strengthens the company’s position as a CDMO partner supporting development and manufacturing programs for biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
The expanded Mammalian platform now supports GMP manufacturing capacities ranging from 50-liter volumes to large-scale drug substance production at 2,000 liters. According to the company, the platform includes process development, analytical control, and batch release capabilities designed to support projects from early development through commercial manufacturing.
3PBIOVIAN said the investment reflects its approach of guiding projects with an industrial manufacturing focus from the early stages of development. The company stated that this strategy is intended to support the design of scalable processes aligned with future clinical and commercial manufacturing requirements while reducing scale-up risks and optimizing timelines and costs over the long term.
The company also said it has experience executing mammalian projects for international clients across multiple development stages. The expanded infrastructure is intended to support flexible and scalable contract manufacturing solutions tailored to individual project requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
