Agno Pharma has announced the acquisition of Actylis Eugene, the legacy Cascade Chemistry business based in Eugene, Oregon, as part of its strategy to expand its U.S. contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) capabilities in small-molecule active pharmaceutical ingredients and GMP intermediates.
The Eugene site brings more than 20 years of experience in small-molecule API development and manufacturing. It includes a 16,000 square-foot research and development laboratory and a newly constructed 30,000 square-foot manufacturing facility with GMP infrastructure designed to support early-phase through late-phase clinical API production. Under Actylis, the site received investment to expand and upgrade its GMP operations.

Agno Pharma stated that it already serves a global client base of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, supplying GMP intermediates, APIs, drug product and drug implant formulation services, and analytical services from preclinical through commercial stages. The acquisition expands the company’s manufacturing footprint and supports its focus on onshore pharmaceutical manufacturing in the United States.
Following the transaction, Agno plans a phased integration of the Eugene site, with a focus on maintaining uninterrupted service for existing customers while accelerating further investment to enhance capabilities and support long-term growth in its contract manufacturing operations.
