American Injectables has announced key leadership appointments to support its growth strategy in 2025 and beyond. Travis Allen, a founding member of the company, has been named Chief Executive Officer and Board Director. Paul Campanelli, former CEO of Endo International and Par Pharmaceutical, will step into the role of Executive Chairman, while Kimberlee Steele, Managing Director of North America at SHL Medical, joins as a new Board Member.
The appointments come as the CDMO strengthens its position in the sterile injectables market, a sector experiencing rising demand for domestic manufacturing. Allen, who holds a Pharm.D., has extensive experience in sterile injectables, including business development in the 503B outsourcing space and the establishment of a commercial sterile injectables facility. His leadership aims to enhance operational efficiency and customer partnerships.

Campanelli, who has served on the board since March 2024, brings significant experience in sterile products, while Steele offers expertise from her roles at SHL Medical and Catalent, spanning biologics, injectable drug products, and cell and gene therapy. Steele highlighted American Injectables’ focus on transparency and customer partnerships as key strengths.
