- AtomVie Global Radiopharma has opened its 72,300-square-foot radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Hamilton, Ontario, following an investment of more than $160 million.

AtomVie Global Radiopharma has opened its new 72,300-square-foot manufacturing facility in Hamilton, Ontario, following an investment of more than $160 million. The company said the site is the largest single-site North American CDMO facility for radiopharmaceutical development and is designed to support production from early development through commercial manufacturing.
The facility provides low- to high-throughput production capabilities and represents more than a tenfold increase in AtomVie’s manufacturing capacity. According to the company, the site is purpose-built to support lifecycle growth and enable progression from early radiopharmaceutical development to commercial manufacturing.
AtomVie said it has supported more than 70 clinical development and technology transfer programs to date and has manufactured more than 1,000 cGMP batches. These activities have resulted in more than 4,400 cGMP doses delivered to patients across 28 countries. The company reports a delivery success rate of more than 99%.
As the Hamilton facility scales to full operation, AtomVie expects its workforce to grow to more than 200 employees by late 2026. CEO Bruno Paquin said the facility will support partners’ development and commercialization programs while advancing the company’s focus on radiopharmaceutical manufacturing.
