BioCentriq Expands with 60,000 sq. ft. Cell Therapy Facility in NJ

• BioCentriq announces a $12 million investment in a new 60,000 sq. ft. cell therapy manufacturing facility in Princeton, NJ, enhancing its CDMO services.

• The facility will include six ISO 7 cleanrooms and provide process development, GMP manufacturing, and analytical services by Q2 2025.

BioCentriq, a CDMO specialising in cell therapy, has entered into a long-term lease for a new state-of-the-art facility in Princeton, New Jersey. This facility, spanning 60,000 square feet, will serve as the company’s headquarters and strengthen its position in the cell therapy market through a $12 million investment in upgrades and advanced technologies.

The site will house six ISO 7 cleanrooms equipped with cutting-edge bioreactors and scalable platforms to support clinical and commercial manufacturing needs. With an additional 30,000 square feet for future expansion, the facility will bolster BioCentriq’s global capacity to deliver comprehensive solutions across the cell therapy product lifecycle.

The Princeton site complements BioCentriq’s Newark facility, which focuses on GMP production and workforce training. Together, these facilities will provide a full suite of CDMO services, including process and analytical development, technology transfer, and quality control.
