Biodeal Pharmaceuticals Raises Rs. 385 Crore ($44 Million) to Drive Global Expansion

Biodeal Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has secured a growth investment of Rs. 385 crore from RMB Capitalworks, a joint venture between Rand Merchant Bank and Capitalworks Group. The funding will support the specialty pharmaceutical CDMO’s next phase of growth, including expansion of its manufacturing capabilities and presence in regulated markets.

The company, which has more than two decades of experience, specializes in nasal drug delivery and provides integrated pharmaceutical development and contract manufacturing services. It serves customers in domestic and international markets and is expanding its position as a CDMO partner for pharmaceutical companies seeking specialized manufacturing capabilities for regulated markets.

According to the company, the investment will support expansion across Asian markets while accelerating growth in the CIS, Latin America, Africa, and Europe. Biodeal also plans to strengthen its specialty pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities and continue progressing toward a planned public listing.

Biodeal reported consistent profitable growth over the past five years, with estimated FY26 revenue increasing by more than 60% year over year alongside further expansion in EBITDA margins. The company said the new funding will be used to expand its international presence and strengthen its position as a pharmaceutical manufacturing partner.
