Biological E. has appointed V Krishnakumar (KK) as Chief Executive Officer – Biopharma CDMO. He will lead the company’s global biopharmaceutical CDMO platform across vaccines, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), recombinant proteins and mRNA therapeutics.
Krishnakumar joins Biological E. with experience in life sciences strategy, CDMO, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation. He previously served as Executive Director and COO at ERIS Lifesciences and as Partner, Lifesciences Investment Banking at EY.
Earlier in his career, Krishnakumar was Executive Director, Lifesciences Investment Banking at Avendus Capital and President – Strategy at Piramal Pharma Solutions. He began his career at McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager.
His appointment comes as Biological E. seeks to expand its global biopharmaceutical CDMO capabilities and strengthen its presence across emerging and advanced therapeutic platforms. The company’s CDMO platform spans multiple modalities, including vaccines, ADCs, mAbs, recombinant proteins and mRNA therapeutics.
