CARBOGEN AMCIS Announces CEO Transition

  • CARBOGEN AMCIS has announced the departure of CEO Pascal Villemagne, effective 31 March 2025.
  • Stephan Fritschi, currently Deputy CEO, will take over as CEO from 1 April 2025.

CARBOGEN AMCIS, a Switzerland-based pharmaceutical process development and API manufacturing company, has announced a leadership transition. CEO Pascal Villemagne will step down on 31 March 2025, after 13 years with the company, including three as CEO.

The company has appointed Stephan Fritschi, currently Chief Alliance Officer and Deputy CEO, as his successor. Fritschi, who has been with CARBOGEN AMCIS for over 25 years, will assume the role on 1 April 2025.

Arpit Vyas, Global Managing Director, acknowledged Villemagne’s leadership, stating, “Pascal has been instrumental in the turnaround of CARBOGEN AMCIS. During his tenure, Pascal successfully implemented structural changes in the company organization and supported our digital transformation.”

Villemagne expressed pride in the company’s achievements and confidence in his successor. “I have full confidence in Stephan’s ability to steer the company toward even greater success,” he said.

Fritschi stated his commitment to ensuring continuity and growth, saying, “I look forward to collaborating with the team to continue the progress we have made and to build on the foundations laid by my predecessor.” The company’s Board of Directors has expressed gratitude to Villemagne and confidence in Fritschi’s leadership for the next phase of growth.
