Cytovance Biologics has announced the launch of cell line development services as part of an expansion of its mammalian cell culture capabilities. The addition is intended to strengthen the company’s integrated biologics development offering and provide customers with a streamlined pathway from DNA to Investigational New Drug (IND) submission.
According to the company, the new service builds on its recent introduction of formulation development capabilities and expands its end-to-end support for biologics programs. By bringing cell line development in-house, Cytovance aims to reduce external technology transfers and support more efficient development from discovery through commercialization.
The company stated that its mammalian cell line development platform has achieved titers of up to 10 g/L for monoclonal antibodies. Cytovance said the platform is designed to support faster process development, lower manufacturing costs per gram, and accelerate development timelines while maintaining product quality.
