Delpharm has announced a major investment to expand sterile industrial capacity at its Saint-Rémy site. The expansion aims to meet rising demand for aseptic vials and to anticipate future customer needs in contract manufacturing.
The company has defined an ambitious roadmap that includes the construction of a new 1,000 m² production area. This facility will house a high-performance line with the capability to fill up to 24,000 vials per hour in formats ranging from 2 ml to 100 ml.
According to Delpharm, the expansion will result in an additional production capacity of 45 million units for sterile vials and freeze-dried products. The company stated: “This strategic investment reflects our commitment to supporting our partners in their development projects with high-performance, flexible and sustainable industrial solutions.”
