FAMAR has appointed Bruce Vielle as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 3, 2026. The executive joins the CDMO with more than two decades of leadership experience across pharmaceutical manufacturing and contract manufacturing organizations.
Vielle has led international manufacturing organizations and multi-site operations across Europe during his career. According to the company, his experience includes operational excellence, sterile manufacturing, and business growth. He is an engineer by training and holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris. FAMAR also noted his expertise in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
In his new role, Vielle will lead FAMAR’s continued growth strategy. The company said his priorities include building on recent investments in new technologies and capabilities while strengthening operational excellence, agility, and customer partnerships.
FAMAR said the appointment supports its ongoing development as it continues to expand its manufacturing capabilities and operations across its business.
