Granules India Completes 100% Acquisition of Swiss CDMO Senn Chemicals

• Granules India has completed the acquisition of Swiss-based CDMO Senn Chemicals AG through its subsidiary, Granules Peptides.

Granules India has announced the successful completion of its acquisition of Senn Chemicals AG, a Switzerland-based Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with expertise in peptide development and manufacturing. The deal was executed through Granules’ wholly owned Indian subsidiary, Granules Peptides.

The acquisition follows a definitive share purchase agreement signed in February 2025. Under the agreement, Granules acquired 100% of the equity of Senn Chemicals from the founding Senn family.

Founded more than 60 years ago, Senn Chemicals has built a niche in both Liquid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (LPPS) and Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS). The company supports pharmaceutical innovators, brand owners, and clients in the cosmetic, amino acid derivative (AAD), and theragnostic sectors.
