Intravacc has renewed its partnership with Primrose Bio to support the development and supply of conjugate vaccines. The collaboration builds on an agreement first announced in March 2024 and is intended to combine the companies’ respective capabilities in vaccine development and manufacturing.
Under the renewed arrangement, Intravacc will contribute expertise in antigen conjugation process development, scale-up, and GMP production of conjugate vaccines. The CDMO said it will also provide technical expertise and access to its facilities to support vaccine programs.
Primrose Bio will provide production, supply chain, and regulatory support for its PeliCRM197 carrier protein. According to the company, PeliCRM197 is used in conjugate vaccine formulations and is available in research and GMP grades across a range of quantities.
“We are excited to renew our partnership with Primrose Bio. By combining our expertise with Primrose’s cutting-edge technologies, we aim to revolutionize the landscape of conjugate vaccine development.”

The companies said the renewed collaboration is designed to provide vaccine developers with integrated support for vaccine conjugation, manufacturing, and supply. Primrose Bio noted that the expansion of its PeliCRM197 franchise with Intravacc creates a full-service solution for the vaccine industry.
