Intravacc Secures French CIR Approval for 2025–2027

COMPANY PROFILE
  • Intravacc has received approval from the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space as a private research organization under the French Research Tax Credit (CIR) framework for 2025 through 2027.
  • The approval supports French biotech and pharmaceutical companies seeking outsourced R&D services in vaccine development, analytical development, and cGMP manufacturing.

Intravacc announced that it has received approval from the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space as a private research organization under France’s Research Tax Credit framework, known as Crédit d’Impôt Recherche (CIR), for the years 2025 through 2027. The company said the recognition supports its role as a CDMO partner for French biotech and pharmaceutical companies conducting eligible research and development activities.

According to Intravacc, the CIR framework allows companies to include eligible outsourced R&D activities performed by approved research organizations within their CIR documentation, subject to applicable rules and project-level assessment. The approval applies to services including vaccine design, process development, analytical development, assay validation, quality control, formulation, and cGMP clinical batch production.

The company stated that it supports vaccine development programs across multiple modalities, including viral, bacterial, conjugate, and E. coli-expressed protein vaccines. Intravacc also provides integrated services spanning antigen selection, vaccine strain design, upstream and downstream process development, analytical services, regulatory support, technology transfer, and contract manufacturing.

“This recognition supports our commitment to helping French and European partners accelerate vaccine innovation while reducing development risk.”

Ivo Lemmens, Managing Director of Intravacc

Intravacc said the CIR approval is intended to help French clients document outsourced R&D activities while supporting collaboration on vaccine development and analytical programs. The company also stated that it will continue supporting partners with project scoping and invoicing aligned with CIR documentation requirements.
