MedPharm, a contract drug development and manufacturing organization focused on topical and transdermal products, has signed an agreement with a global pharmaceutical company to support the commercial site transfer and manufacturing of a branded specialty topical pharmaceutical product.
The agreement marks MedPharm’s fifth commercial deal in the past 20 months and expands its portfolio of pharmaceutical partnerships and commercial programs at its manufacturing site in Durham, North Carolina. The company will provide technical transfer services to support commercial production of the product.
MedPharm has nearly three decades of experience in the development and manufacturing of topical, transdermal and transepithelial drug products. The company will use this expertise to support the transfer of the product to its Durham manufacturing site and subsequent commercial production.
