Mytos, a biotechnology company focused on automating cell manufacturing, has launched an automated contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) offering to support scalable production of stem cell-derived therapies.
The company’s first site is located at the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult’s (CGT Catapult) Stevenage Manufacturing Innovation Centre in the United Kingdom and is targeting clinical readiness by September 2026.
Powered by Mytos’ proprietary iDEM automation technology, the Stevenage facility is designed to deliver up to 1,500 autologous doses or 25,000 allogeneic doses each year. Additional cleanroom capacity is available to increase throughput further. The technology enables lower cost per dose, faster technology transfer using the same flask format as manual culture, and immediate access to GMP capacity without the infrastructure costs or delays associated with traditional outsourcing.
