National Resilience Expands Partnership with Parvus Therapeutics to Develop PVT401 for IBD

  • National Resilience expands its collaboration with Parvus Therapeutics to support the development and manufacturing of PVT401, an autoimmune drug for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
  • This follows the successful development of Parvus’ earlier candidate, PVT201, by Resilience.

National Resilience, a leader in biomanufacturing, has expanded its collaboration with Parvus Therapeutics to support the development and manufacturing of PVT401, a drug candidate targeting Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). The partnership builds on the successful work done on Parvus’ previous drug candidate, PVT201, which is currently in clinical development.

The collaboration will help Parvus transition its autoimmune drug candidate from preclinical stages to clinical trials. National Resilience’s role includes providing critical development expertise and manufacturing capabilities, ensuring the successful progression of PVT401 through the drug development process. The focus is on delivering complex therapeutics with the potential to address unmet medical needs in autoimmune diseases.

“This collaboration highlights National Resilience’s commitment to empowering the development of transformative therapies,” said Dr. Susan Billings, Chief Commercial Officer at Resilience. “Together with Parvus, we aim to bring innovative medicines like PVT401 closer to patients, addressing critical unmet needs in autoimmune diseases.”

Louis Demers, Senior Vice President of Technical Operations at Parvus, emphasised the importance of the partnership, stating, “Our collaboration with National Resilience provided critical development expertise and manufacturing capability we needed to transition from a preclinical to clinical-stage company.”
