OneSource Specialty Pharma and Formycon have announced a strategic manufacturing partnership focused on biosimilars. Under the agreement, OneSource will serve as a strategic manufacturing partner for Formycon, providing integrated drug substance (DS) and drug product (DP) manufacturing services from its biologics manufacturing facility in Bangalore, India. The collaboration is intended to support Formycon’s biosimilar programs for global markets.
The partnership combines Formycon’s biosimilar development capabilities with OneSource’s integrated biologics contract manufacturing platform. According to the companies, the collaboration aims to support reliable, scalable, and cost-effective manufacturing to improve global access to biosimilar medicines.

OneSource stated that its manufacturing platform spans cell line development through commercial fill-finish and includes five manufacturing facilities approved by regulatory authorities, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA). Formycon said the partnership strengthens its manufacturing network as part of its FYB4Growth strategy by adding a manufacturing partner focused on quality, operational efficiency, and scalable production.
The companies said the collaboration reflects their shared objective of supporting sustainable global access to biosimilars through integrated development and manufacturing capabilities.
