- Perceptive Discovery and Nucleus RadioPharma have formed a strategic partnership to help radiopharmaceutical developers progress from early target validation through clinical manufacturing.
- The collaboration combines Perceptive Discovery’s radiochemistry, preclinical imaging, biodistribution, and dosimetry services with Nucleus RadioPharma’s GMP manufacturing, process development, isotope supply, and regulatory support.
Perceptive Discovery has entered a strategic partnership with Nucleus RadioPharma Inc. to establish a coordinated pathway for radiopharmaceutical developers moving from early-stage research toward clinical manufacturing. The collaboration aims to reduce delays, costs, and operational challenges when transitioning programs from preclinical imaging to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) production.
Under the agreement, the companies will refer qualified customer opportunities to one another across the development process. Perceptive Discovery provides radiochemistry, preclinical models, molecular imaging, biodistribution, and dosimetry services to support candidate selection and clinical translation. Nucleus RadioPharma contributes GMP radiolabeling, process development, clinical and commercial manufacturing, specialized isotope supply chain capabilities, and regulatory and quality support.
The partnership is designed to connect preclinical evidence with manufacturing requirements earlier in development. Biodistribution and dosimetry data can inform radioligand candidate selection and the design of first-in-human studies. The companies aim to maintain scientific continuity as programs progress toward clinical-scale GMP manufacturing.
“Discovery to Dose is more than a handoff between companies. It is an integrated pathway designed to move promising radiopharmaceuticals from early science to patients faster, with manufacturability and scale considered from the beginning.”
Stephen Hahn, M.D., chief executive officer of Nucleus RadioPharma
Benjamin Murphy, CEO of Perceptive Discovery, said the collaboration would help sponsors anticipate scientific and manufacturing challenges earlier and establish a clearer path toward clinical development.
The partnership is non-exclusive, and both companies will continue to operate independently while preserving customer choice. They plan to review the collaboration’s performance and consider expanding its scope over time based on customer needs.
