ReciBioPharm Secures Gates Foundation Grant to Advance RNA Manufacturing

  • ReciBioPharm, a division of Recipharm, received a three-year grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to enhance RNA manufacturing technologies.
  • The project aims to deploy xRNA Continuous Manufacturing technologies to low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and develop advanced inline PAT and predictive analytics software.

ReciBioPharm, a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) has announced receiving a three-year grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The funding will support the development and deployment of xRNA Continuous Manufacturing technologies, focusing on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). This initiative aims to improve the scalability, quality, and accessibility of RNA-based medicines globally.

The project includes developing cutting-edge inline Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and predictive analytics software. These advancements will enhance RNA manufacturing processes, helping meet the industry’s growing demand for high-quality and scalable RNA solutions.

Vikas Gupta, President of ReciBioPharm, highlighted the grant’s importance, stating: “This grant represents a significant milestone in our commitment to advancing RNA manufacturing technologies that meet FDA standards.
