COMPANY PROFILE
  • Sanner has opened its first U.S. production facility in Greensboro, North Carolina, to enhance service for MedTech and pharmaceutical customers in North America.
  • The 60,500 sq ft site includes GMP-certified cleanrooms, advanced manufacturing technology, and space for future expansion.

Sanner, a global supplier of healthcare packaging and drug delivery solutions, has opened its first production facility in the United States. Located in Greensboro, North Carolina, the 60,500 sq ft site began initial operations weeks earlier and is designed to serve MedTech and pharmaceutical partners across North America.

The facility features GMP-certified cleanrooms (ISO class 7 and 8), advanced injection moulding, high-speed desiccant filling, and laboratory capabilities. Built with 20,000 sq ft of expansion space, it is positioned to accommodate future growth.

The company said the investment strengthens its role as both a supplier of primary packaging and a contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) for the healthcare sector. Sanner’s U.S. operations will work alongside its Design Center of Excellence, Gilero, to combine design, manufacturing, regulatory insight, and operational support.

“This is more than just a new facility,” said Christian Classen, Chief Sales Officer of Sanner Group. “It’s a bold step forward in our global journey, reinforcing our long-term commitment to supporting our customers in North America with local production, cutting-edge technology, and world-class service.”
