Scorpius Holdings, Inc., an integrated contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO), has announced a strategic partnership with Celltheon Corporation to enhance cell line development services for clients. The collaboration leverages Celltheon’s proprietary GOLDILOCKS platform to provide a transposase-based cell line solution, aiming to support biomanufacturing projects from early research stages through to GMP manufacturing at Scorpius’ facility in San Antonio, Texas.
The partnership enables clients to work within Scorpius’ program management structure, benefiting from an integrated process as they prepare to transfer a research cell bank to Scorpius’ facilities. This comprehensive service approach is aimed at biotech firms and academic researchers looking to scale their projects efficiently. Celltheon also offers Scorpius clients services such as antibody discovery, variant screening, and comparability studies, expanding the scope of Scorpius’ offerings within the CDMO space.
