TAG1 Inc., a supplier of clinical quantities of medical isotopes, has announced a strategic partnership with PharmaLogic, a contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) specialising in radiopharmaceuticals. The agreement will support TAG1’s transition from prototype to clinical-grade production of its Pb-212 generator platform.
TAG1’s Pb-212 generator has been developed over the past 18 months at the Missouri University Research Reactor and MITC. Following approval of the final clinical design, the company is beginning scale-up to enable decentralised, on-site production of Pb-212 for hospitals, radiopharmacies, and therapeutic developers.
PharmaLogic will provide regulatory, operational, and manufacturing expertise to help TAG1 commercialise its generator technology. The partnership also supports PharmaLogic’s ongoing efforts to increase access to alpha-emitting isotopes.

The companies plan to collaborate with academic institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and early innovators to supply both preclinical and clinical quantities of Pb-212, supporting continued development of radiotherapeutics in oncology and rare diseases.
