- TriLink has opened a GMP enzyme manufacturing facility in Jupiter, Florida, to support RNA therapeutics developers with coordinated supply of key RNA manufacturing and IVT workflow materials.
- The facility has already shipped its first commercial GMP enzyme batch and will manufacture products including GMP CleanScribe™ RNA Polymerase, GMP NTPs, GMP CleanCap® analogs and GMP ModTail™ technology.
TriLink BioTechnologies, part of Maravai LifeSciences, has opened a GMP enzyme manufacturing facility in Jupiter, Florida, to support RNA therapeutics developers with the supply of critical RNA manufacturing and in vitro transcription (IVT) workflow materials. The facility is designed to provide coordinated access to enzymes, nucleotides, cap analogs and tail technology from early-stage research through commercial production.
According to the company, the facility was purpose-built for GMP enzyme manufacturing and includes controlled cleanroom environments, validated production processes and scalable manufacturing capacity. TriLink said the site supports both clinical-stage programs and commercial supply, with quality systems and traceability measures in place to meet regulatory requirements across major markets. The company also announced that it shipped its first commercial GMP enzyme batch in June 2026.
The launch is intended to address challenges faced by RNA therapeutics developers that source critical raw materials from multiple suppliers. TriLink said its integrated offering combines GMP CleanScribe™ RNA Polymerase Mix, GMP NTPs, GMP CleanCap® analogs and GMP ModTail™ technology into a coordinated supply model designed to simplify development, reduce vendor complexity and support scale-up activities.
The facility’s flagship product is GMP CleanScribe™ RNA Polymerase, which the company said reduces double-stranded RNA formation by up to 85% compared with standard wild-type T7 RNA polymerases, based on internal and customer studies. TriLink stated that controlling dsRNA formation during IVT can improve downstream process efficiency and product quality in therapeutic mRNA manufacturing.
“RNA therapeutics developers need reliable supply partners that can support them from early research through commercial manufacturing. By combining enzyme manufacturing capabilities with TriLink’s existing RNA technologies, we help customers simplify sourcing, reduce supply chain complexity, and accelerate scale-up with greater confidence.”
