WuXi AppTec reported financial results for the first half of 2026, with total revenue increasing 38.9% year over year to RMB 28.90 billion. Revenue from Continuing Operations increased 48.0% year over year, while adjusted non-IFRS net profit rose 83.2% to RMB 11.57 billion. The pharmaceutical contract research, development, and manufacturing organization (CRDMO) attributed the performance to the success of multiple customers’ products and its integrated CRDMO platform, prompting the company to raise its full-year 2026 financial guidance.
The company reported a Continuing Operations backlog of RMB 66.43 billion as of June 30, 2026, an increase of 25.2% year over year. Adjusted operating cash flow increased 41.3% to RMB 9.98 billion. WuXi AppTec also raised its 2026 revenue target to RMB 58.5–60.5 billion and increased planned capital expenditure to RMB 7.5–8.5 billion to support accelerated global capacity expansion, including the early initiation of a new site in Changzhou.

During the reporting period, WuXi AppTec maintained its AAA MSCI ESG rating and completed 465 quality audits and inspections and 21 information security audits with no critical findings. Twenty of the company’s main sites are now ISO/IEC 27001 certified. The company also distributed its 2025 annual cash dividend totaling RMB 4.71 billion and proposed a higher interim cash dividend for 2026.
WuXi AppTec also noted that it had initiated legal action following its inclusion on the U.S. Department of Defense’s 1260H list, stating that the designation “is not supported by facts or law.” The company said it believes the matter will be resolved through the ongoing judicial review process.
