Ennolys is a France-based biotechnology company and CDMO specialising in industrial fermentation, bioprocess development, scale-up and production.

Description

Ennolys, a business unit of the Lesaffre Group, has more than 30 years of experience in industrial fermentation. Based in Soustons in southwest France, the company supports biotechnology, food, nutraceutical, cosmetics, agriculture, animal nutrition and health applications. Its CDMO/CMO division helps customers move microbial processes from pilot development through industrial and commercial production.

The company provides an integrated approach covering fermentation, downstream processing (DSP), drying, quality management, technology transfer and industrial scale-up. Its fermentation capabilities cover batch and fed-batch processes and a broad range of microorganisms, including bacteria, yeasts, filamentous fungi and microalgae. Ennolys has more than 200,000 litres of fermentation capacity across vessels ranging from 100 litres to 50,000 litres.
