Ennolys, which has more than 30 years of industrial fermentation expertise, is expanding its CDMO services to support biotechnology projects from laboratory R&D and bioprocess development through scale-up and commercial production. The offering is designed to provide customized support across fermentation, purification and drying processes.
The company’s teams produce microorganisms and fermentation-derived metabolites, including enzymes, probiotics, postbiotics, proteins and peptides, for customers in the food, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, agricultural and animal nutrition markets. Under the expanded offering, Ennolys will support projects using large-capacity fermenters and dedicated expertise to optimize yields, quality and reproducibility.
The service covers fermentation, downstream processing (DSP) and drying, with Ennolys involved across the development and manufacturing process. The company said the approach is intended to help manufacturers reduce development costs, accelerate time to market and secure their supply chains.
The expansion is part of Lesaffre’s broader effort to establish partnerships within the biotechnology ecosystem. Ennolys said its CDMO offering combines fermentation expertise with DSP and drying capabilities to provide support from laboratory development through industrial production.
