- Jupiter Neurosciences Inc. has signed an agreement with Catalent Pharma Solutions LLC to produce JOTROL softgel capsules for a Phase 2a clinical trial in Parkinson’s disease.
- The trial will assess the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) of JOTROL over a three-month period.
Jupiter Neurosciences Inc., a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company, has entered an agreement with Catalent Pharma Solutions LLC to manufacture softgel capsules of JOTROL, its proprietary resveratrol-based therapeutic. The production will support Jupiter’s upcoming Phase 2a clinical trial for Parkinson’s disease.
As part of the agreement, Catalent will produce clinical batches of JOTROL, including both active and placebo formulations, using an optimised softgel formulation. This manufacturing effort is intended to ensure a reliable supply for the study.
