Hovione and Microinnova Engineering have announced a partnership to advance the development and testing of modular manufacturing equipment for flow chemistry. The collaboration focuses on creating multi-purpose, plug-and-play equipment designed to enhance process development and accelerate the transition from lab-scale to large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing.

The Microinnova equipment will be trialled in Hovione’s industrial environment, offering greater flexibility, easier scalability, improved efficiency, and sustainable practices in active ingredient production. The partnership is intended to reduce time to market for pharmaceutical customers by streamlining continuous manufacturing processes.
