Enzene has launched NeX, an end-to-end partnership model designed to enable governments, institutions, and biopharma organizations to establish biologics manufacturing capabilities using the company’s EnzeneX® fully-connected continuous manufacturing (FCCM™) platform. The company said the program provides a turnkey approach to building local manufacturing capacity while reducing the capital investment associated with conventional biologics facilities.
The NeX program includes facility design and build-out support, technology transfer, intellectual property licensing for the EnzeneX platform, workforce training through the SparX™ curriculum, and operational support during start-up and commercialization. Where applicable, participating organizations may also receive access to selected products from Enzene’s biosimilar portfolio for regional manufacturing. The initiative is intended to help establish local manufacturing capabilities, strengthen supply chains, and improve patient access to biologic medicines.

According to Enzene, facilities developed through the NeX program can achieve validation and commercial readiness in under three years. The company said it is already engaged in discussions with multiple governments and corporations worldwide and intends for the program to support regional biopharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities while reducing long-term manufacturing costs.
