Axiom Biosciences has entered a strategic partnership with GeneFab, a cell and gene therapy contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), to support the continued advancement of Axiom’s therapeutic pipeline. The collaboration expands Axiom’s manufacturing and clinical development capabilities as the company prepares for upcoming activities across its lead therapeutic programs.
Under the partnership, GeneFab will provide development and manufacturing support focused on establishing scalable and reproducible production processes. The processes are intended to meet the quality standards and regulatory requirements associated with clinical-stage development.
The collaboration will also support Axiom in building the manufacturing infrastructure required to advance its therapeutic candidates. The company said the partnership provides access to specialized development and manufacturing expertise across manufacturing operations.
